Jake Wahlin, a 6-10 transfer from Utah, is on campus today with his parents.
Wahlin, a sophomore this past season, started 22 games this year for the Runnin’ Utes, and averaged 6.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game. He had season-highs of 16 points against Oklahoma State, 12 rebounds against Kansas, including a defensive performance of six steals and four blocks against Central Arkansas.
He will visit Virginia Sunday, and I am hearing that is his last visit before making a decision. Tigers very much in the mix here.

Maybe we could have another 6'10" front line like we did in 79-80. Worked pretty well then but got to have some 3 pt. shooters. Did not have a 3 pt line then...

This is probably the last big guy for depth like Foster or Reeves from last season.
They were hoping to get a visit from Washington 6-4 guard Mekhi Mason but the newest rumor is he is going to end up at Wake Forest.
