IMHO it is a good thing. Y'all wanna scream about climate change while peeing away dollars on cheap junk shipped or flown to the USA. Kinda being hypocrites! Also why waste $$$$ on that junk fast fashion, it falls apart after 2 washes anyway. Buy less but buy good stuff as that always works out better in the long run.

Forgot to mention that that fast fashion junk mostly ends up shipped to landfills in South America after it does not sell. SO more great news for the planet right? Not to mention the initial manufacturing .

Not really, it is from a common sense perspective. I learned long ago that wasting money on cheap stuff is foolish. It does not last, buy quality once and use or wear it for a long time. Nobody ever gets ahead replacing junk all the time or even if it is not junk if it still works keep it. I drive vehicles on average of 12 years, I do my best to buy a quality product that will last that long with minimal repairs.Appliances the same, Speed Queen washer/dryer with a 10 year parts and labor warranty, call them and out they come no charge. Stuff will outlast 4 pieces of box store junk. Weber grill, had it for 17 years now, still fires right up and cooks fantastic, it did not rust to dust in 3 years.Had to go with a Bosch refrigerator as KitchenAid is now complete junk, that sucker should last a long time. When the dishwasher goes, on last legs, it will be Bosch too.
I pay a bit more initially but then I rarely have to call for service or toss it out in the dump either. Your choice, buy junk or buy quality that does not cause grief.
