10 games each year, I think we all agree that we have not been the caliber of the 2015-2018 teams, I attribute two of the main reasons to be play calling and wide receiver recruiting and development. Tie that in to when we lost Jeff Scott. Jeff was almost as good a recruiter as Dabo and he brought in, and developed some great wide receivers.When Jeff and Tony Eliot were Offensive Co-Coordinators Tony sat in the press box and called the plays down to Jeff on the side lines. What many people do not know, and I heard Jeff say this, is that on our last offensive play against Alabama with six seconds remaining, Tony called down a pass to Mike Williams in the back left corner of the end zone. Jeff pled with Dabo to change the call and instead throw it to Renfrow. The rest is history!

It's hard to ignore how we looked after Jeff left.

Idk what that means since Jeff didn't call plays from the booth, but it's hard to ignore even still.

I don't buy the play calling deal. The years from 2014-2019 were better largely because of gentlemen named Watson and Lawrence and defenses that could get a stop when it was needed. The past couple of years we have neither a 1st Round Draft pick at QB nor a defense that we could depend on getting a crucial stop when it was needed. Will this year be different? I hope so.
