Austin, Texas (January 28, 2025) – ANSRS (www.ansrs.ai), the fastest, most accurate data and video management system for football, announced today that Chad Morris, a Texas high school coaching legend and one of the preeminent offensive coaches in all of football, has joined the company as a senior advisor to the CEO. He will assist coaches throughout the country implementing the technology, while also developing a curriculum to help young coaches advance in the sport.

Morris, who has been coaching high school or college football for more than 30 years, led Lake Travis to back-to-back undefeated seasons and two Texas high school state championships (2008-09). He also led Bay City to a state title in 2000. After serving as offensive coordinator for Clemson (2011-14), Morris became the head coach for SMU in 2015 and directed the revival of the storied program with his innovative offense. He was inducted into the Texas High School Coaches Hall of Fame in 2020. Morris will bring his knowledge and relationships to his new role in order to enhance the ANSRS platform and help coaches become more efficient with their game planning processes. One of his first actions was bringing Clemson on board as a new ANSRS customer.

“I got into coaching more than 30 years ago because I wanted to have a positive impact on kids and the coaching industry. That’s my purpose in life and it’s not going to change,” Morris said. “ANSRS allows me to help coaches grow and improve their programs. It also affects the players because coaches can now provide detailed information that will help the players perform better. That is meaningful to me and I am really excited about it.”

ANSRS Intelligence automates the breakdown process and provides coaches instant access to all the reports and hit charts, formation summaries, self-scouting reports and game analytics. It was built and created to simplify the information gathering process and give coaches quicker access to the data and video they need to prepare their teams each week. ANSRS Adjust, a live, portable in-game video system, gives coaches real-time access to review all the key plays and make informed decisions during their games. The system runs on its own private network, delivering live sideline and end zone view video to any iPads and tablets connected to the network.

“Chad’s wealth of experience in both high school and college football, combined with his deep understanding of how the game is evolving, makes him an invaluable asset to our team,” ANSRS CEO Tim Prukop said. “Our mission as a company is to improve the lives of coaches and there is no doubt Chad’s presence will have a profound impact on the industry. Not only will he help make our products better, but he will be focused on helping coaches at all levels make smarter, faster decisions with the power of data.”

In addition to expanding the reach for ANSRS’ technology offerings, Morris will help lead ANSRS Academy, a career development program to support coaches at every level as they look to elevate their career paths. Through private clinics and online tutorials, coaches will have access to Morris’ curriculum, including game planning and strategy, player development, leadership and culture building and, of course, data and analytics to improve decision-making, game preparation, and overall team performance.

In other words…coach. Remember, he groomed Scott and Elliott. He also did a helluva job here.

Sounds like coaches will soon be relying heavily on computers to decide which play to call. "Ok HAL, which play do we run now?" or "Hey, I know, let's let WHOPPER call the play (after he finishes his war game)!" Pretty soon, we won't even need the players. Just put up a giant video screen and let the computer generate the action for us.
