"We put him in at Notre Dame and he threw a pick"...Yeah, you don't put the kid in on the five freakin' yard line and give him a wing and prayer play call to attempt to execute. I think it's unfortunate that his ego is getting in the way of any kind of admittance that Cade should have been playing all year. You just don't throw shade at QB2 that's CLEARLY better than QB1. There is more to this story, no doubt.

Yep I heard it as well...but got it mixed up with his other comment...oh well. It still came off a little salty, or at a minimum, passive-aggressive.

The story is Dabo being wrong and not admitting it. He can apologize to Cade and his family privately, and then the team. He owes the fans an explanation, his behavior indicates to me a war against his authority and being questioned, and the fans for calling the BS out.

Cade probably was getting ready to transfer and that’s what probably changed Dabo’s mind. Between his hires and how he handled the QB situation, it’s so mind boggling. Every announcer / commentator is confused by Dabo.
