Found this beauty just randomly parked.
2 cups of pressed coffee and a cuppa and I think jetlag may be done by this evening. Our 6yo....nother story.

First time ever flying across the pond myself and Mrs Pabst struggled with jet lag. Ended up falling asleep at a bar in Paris...never figured out jet lag or was it the booze

You can mitigate it but there's an unavoidable day of suckage.

Those Caddys had trunks big enough to stuff an entire MODERN Caddy inside.

Back then, Cadillac did almost live up to their slogan, "Standard of the World".

I used to have a next door neighbor who was deep into those old Cadillacs

He had one of that same year, only a convertible, that was his "Keeper", and 2-3 others he might sell off if something better came along. He bought and sold old Caddy's, and Caddy parts all the time. It was nothing to see him roll in late at night towing a new aquisition, then the next day swap out some parts he wanted, put other extras on it, and sell it right away. Or a good one, he'd work on a lot and then sell it. He hauled cars to Baltimore to ship to Sweden, where he had contacts who also specialized in old Caddy's.
I used to think of those older Cadillacs as fancy Chevy's, but he taught me they were truly way above any American car, even top-o'-the line Buicks, back then.

and I failed because I hit the wooden barriers when trying to parallel park it. I also think my 3-point turn was more of a 6 point turn.
It looked similar to this, but was grey.

My grandparents gave it to my parents because it wasn't big enough for them.
Passed the next time when I went in an S-10.
