Not sure if this is a positive or negative, but this team still hasn’t really put together a full weekend playing its best ball. It’s constantly something man. So so hard to win against good teams when you basically can guarantee we’re gonna drop the ball on at least 1 important facet of the game. It’s just not sustainable playing this way and expecting to be able to get to Omaha. We’ve got to start getting more guys with batter bat skills or start throwing checks to the power arms like Tennessee or Vandy. You can’t go all the way if you’re just good on both sides of the ball.

Yea the series should be wrapped up and this game meaningless. Definitely not the case.

You’re gonna have to go on a big shopping spree too. There are players (freshman) that can hit but not one has played and gotten any experience. I bet 3-4 guys leave too. Didn’t play anyone in the midweeks early on to see who could contribute. Big mistake if you ask me! Now you have an entire class that has no experience. CF, LF, 3B, SS are gone. Possibly 1B and C there is nobody with experience on the team. Crighton, Bisetta and Mcladdie will be back but after that you have zero experience.

I am a long time Clemson baseball fan & always follow them closely every season. I don’t think it is an exaggeration or being overly dramatic to say this is the worst hitting team I have ever seen at Clemson. It’s plain embarrassing to field a team that has 1 hitter batting over .300. To compare FSU has 7 of their starting 9 players with higher batting averages than our top hitter. Just pathetic.

Agreed. It’s insane that a seemingly top program has ONE player batting over .300 in college ball. That’s ridiculous and something that cannot happen

Have their batting averages magnified improved? You just don’t live in reality. Win or lose I stand by my statement. This is a bad hitting team. It’s embarrassing to have one .300 hitting on a major college baseball. If you can’t understand that then it’s on you.
