Just have this gut feeling that Clemson is going to surprise many viewers this season. I didn't have this feeling last season or the season before. I had an expectation that Clemson would at least win 10 games but didn't expect them to win the playoff. I knew that some development was required, and coaching personnel would need to change. This season has a different feel to it. The reason why I say this is because of many factors.
1. This team has a different energy than last season or the season before last.
2. The depth on the roster at several positions is causing a considerable amount of competition.
3. Everyone seems to be healthy so far. If Clemson can avoid the injury bug, then Clemson has a legitimate shot at the title.
4. Several freshmen are expected to contribute early due to their immense capabilities and their development physically.
It's been a few years since this type of energy surrounded the program. Not hype, but pure energy surrounds this program from within. Not the usual external hype that the media or fanbase brings. I believe Marcus Tate whenever he says that this team is hungry. I can hardly wait for the defense to take the field and wreak all kinds of havoc. I can hardly wait to see the improvement along the offensive line that gives any Clemson offense a chance to score with each possession.
Most of all, I cannot wait to see the stunned and lugubrious faces of Paul Finebaum, opposing coaches, and doubting Thomas types whenever Clemson stomps a mush puddle in every team that lines up this season.

Excellent response!! The proof of the pudding is always in the eating. The first 5 games
will tell us where we are. Last year in was obvious we needed a lot of work. This year, I am
hoping it will tell a little tuning here and there will do the trick. GO TIGERS!!!!!

is correct about our Tigers and not some funky upset stomach. The team certainly has enough talent, now can they execute on the field. Maybe some maturity from the offensive line and CK will prove very valuable in 2024.

Hopefully this is the case. Even if it is the offensive play calling has to change quite a bit. Dabo hasn’t trusted the offense to cut it loose since 2020 because it’s been so bad he wanted to shorten games and lean on the defense. We need to get back to being an all-down threatening offense and put the opposing D on their heels instead of letting them dictate to us.

I don't care to hear about healthiest, great freshman, chips on shoulders, got somethin' to prove, underdog this underdog that, kept receipts, this year's different, haven't felt energy like this, we mean business, coaches hungry, players hungry, chemistry, coach speak, etc, etc, etc................................Just DO IT!
We will have most, if not all questions answered by 10/6...........if not sooner.

However, it will provide a solid measuring stick regardless of the win/loss outcome. Clemson can lose to UGA and still win the National Title. Of course, they may have to go through UGA in the post season to do it.

Your "gut" feeling is CORRECT, my friend. Clemson is going to destroy Georgia in the opener, and take this tidal wave of momentum across the board for the 2024 season. The naysayers will cringe in disbelief
as the Tigers mow down foe after foe. Yes, the haters will continue to predict week after week that Clemson will have a "hiccup" and get upset by some team remaining on their schedule, but it won't happen. The Orange and Purple will be positioned for possibly a 4th National Title in the school's history. You heard it before it happens.
