I'll be gone Sunday-Wednesday on a golfing trip to Santee, and then a fishing trip to Clark's Hill next Thursday-Wednesday.
Looks like I won't have much time to poast for a while after Saturday. Y'all hold the fort down while I'm incognito.

I'll always enjoy it as long as I have friends and family to spend time with. I'm very luck in that respect.
In fact I just got home from visiting my almost 95 year old parents. They are doing well.

The way I see it, we've earned it. I still help neighbors and friends with their yards and home projects because I can, and can't always.

The cat fishing is great at Santee. You don't really need a guide but one will save you a lot of time and put you on the fish quickly.

Back when I was a good golfer (high school 40 years ago), I made two eagles in one round at Lake Marion, but still shot 75.
And be careful where you stay…I installed a bunch of the electrical in a couple of the hotels there when I was in high school. But I think one of them burned down. 😬

My dad retired at 74. I asked him “How’s retirement working out for you?” He said, “That ###### old woman (my mom) is working harder than I ever did when I had a job!”
I’m down to 3 days week at 74. It’s perfect

But I told you so. I still don’t have time to do all the things I want to do. I really don’t know how I had time to work as much as I did. I’ve got a couple of friends that I used to work with who have asked me how I fill my time. I just laugh.
And great to hear your parents are doing well. Spend all the time you can with them.

Santee is my home. Have not retired but have season tickets for football and baseball. Hate the drive to Clemson thru construction on I- 26. Wish you a good time in Santee. DR Horton is building houses in Santee and I don't like the chances which means more people from the north.
