IMO, the AP as usual year in and year out every year they got it wrong again. I believe that even with Cade just becoming our starter yesterday, and by what he done in the championship game against another ranked team, Clemson right now is at least the 6th or 7th best team in the country, and that's without my orange glasses on. With my orange glasses, we're #4, and that my story that I will stick to!!!

They played OSU tight for 3.5 qtrs and Michigan for 2 qtrs. Yippie!!! Give them the biggest participation trophy ever!!!
And USC just got destroyed on their biggest stage of the year. Gotta take a serious hit on that.

Well, it doesn't matter how PSU did against teams with a pulse. They have a winning record and they are in the B2G. That's good enough for a ranking higher than the highest ranked ACC team that destroyed their opponent last night.
If Streeter and Dabo had only done what they said they would do (i.e., if they would have given Cade K a fair opportunity ...).
Unfortunately, we can be sure that their stubborness is a laughing point for our rivals -- but, it has also been, sadly, widely noted by most recruits.
Dabo doesn't need an OC that is a "yes-man." I think the questioning by influential big donors (and the poor start by DJU5) finally created the conditions where Cade had to be given the opportunity to play.

They finish like that bc that is how bias voting works, it works the exact way it is designed to work, and that's anyway they want it to work!!!

No, but they did lose by 25 to an unranked South Carolina team and get taken into OT by Pitt.

Is anyone else tired of the treatment that SEC teams get well some of them and the special treatment OS gets every year Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee they have such a bigger fan base I think they pressure the vote with people in high places its like Alabama can't do no wrong and if you want to get in the play off picture with them you have to be almost perfect

We have less losses than Utah, and I would argue, better wins. Alabama lost to the only decent teams they played, Penn St, all these others ahead in the rankings with equal or more losses AND no conference title scream "We need blowouts". Beating ranked teams like we did, good.. but when playing Miami, GT, LA Tech etc, if you don't have a 30+ point gap it WILL be held against you. I turned to my friend after the 1st series last night, when DJ put the ball at Ngatas feet and said "I would rather lost with Cade to see what he's got than win a one TD game WITH DJ" Yeah, there would have been some growing pains at times this season, but ever since the GT drive most of us knew he had something special. For all the WRs get flack (often deserved) keep in mind they catch DJ in practice and probably didn't have a lot of confidence in his passing. Throwing a catchable ball matters! I think we all believe DJ is a great teammate and kid. But if this isn't Cade's team next year it better be because Vizzina comes in looking like Trevor or Deshaun day one. Then we get back to winning by 40+ and slide right into the playoffs even if there is a hiccup.

I personally think we should land 5th with consideration given to what we project going forward. A team with a rejuvenated offense and new QB.

I don't agree with their " top 25 wins." They list Clemson with one. I would argue that Wake and NCSU were both top 25 teams WHEN we played them. Of course NCSU lost games when QB O'Leary (preseason ACC POY) went down for the season. Wake lost starters after playing Cllemson. Syracuse lost their QB for some games -- perhaps they weren't really top 25. I'm not sure that SEC teams deserve a boast for playing SEC teams. I don't care what Saban says, most of the SEC teams are not good. Texas A&M lost to App St and Texas A&M almost beat Bammer!
This ranking is better than the AP, but still seems to have biases.

actually thought they were any good. Wake and Cuse will never be “quality” wins, they are jokes when it comes to football.
