So the whole WEZ has a brick facade...

And we have a little bit of brick going along the outskirts of the playing field.
What if we continued the brick motif around the sides of the stadium and wrapped the bleak concrete columns with brick to give it a more unified coliseum appearance.
As it stands right now, Death Valley is beautiful and has a great back drop of Lake Hartwell and the Blue Ridge Mountains. I think we could make the stadium itself a little more appealing from the outside and a little less industrial in apperance.
I'm looking at mainly the concrete supports that hold up part of the lower and all the upper decks. There really isn't any brick element to these structures that makes the WEZ seem kinda disjointed from some parts of the stadium. If these were wrapped in brick, and maybe even given arches (Roman Coliseum-esque) it'd definitely dial down the industrial look and give it much more appeal from every angle.
I'm suggesting a face lift, not a complete redo of the structural supports btw. Just to give you an idea, it would look like this wrapped around the stadium...

What do you guys think?

type of thin stone veneer though that would give the appearance of brick. We don't need to add more weight for aesthetic reasons, plus the cost of brick these days is a bit prohibitive for that grand of a scale.
You would also need to think about the longevity and safety of brick and mortar placed that high overhead, particularly with the built in sway effect of such a large structure... it doesn't seem like those upper decks move under stress but they do.

Paint it ORANGE !

All the bare concrete gets a healthy coat of ORANGE and the rest of the money saved goes to putting actual stadium seats into our actual stadium. Enough with the metal bleacher/ seatback scam .

Faux brick tile. Not much weight and would dramatically change the appearance.

Agreed like one other poster said and this one, you could do real brick up to about 12-15 feet maybe 20ft but then you could do that off-white border look there and then do the faux brick the rest of the way. Cost-effective and would look great. The border would break it up so that it the change from real to faux wouldn't be as noticeable.

Barker who is also an architect. He made sure buildings erected during his tenure fit the university's motifs, etc. He could have this fleshed out and get it going.

I went by Death Valley this week and there's already about 15 feet of brick on the outside bottom of the North side of the stadium. Also the entire outer East side of the stadium has the brick motif. So it's not only the WEZ and the sidelines that have the brick design. Just clarifying for the readers.

Let's just cover the place in that padding with the brick pattern on it that is on the stadium walls in the end zones.
