This guy is going to be our next Chase Brice. He can sling that ball and has a quick release. His stats are almost the same as DJU's Sr season. 48 vs 47 TDs, 3 vs 5 INTs, 4200+ vs 4100+ YDs. Not too shabby no matter where you played.

This must be a guy who truly appreciates the value of a Clemson education, because I cannot realistically see him ever getting playing time. He could become a valued scout team player though, and I wish him all the luck in the world.

Never know who might surprise us. Year #1 red-shirt, after year #3 Uiagalelei goes pro. With hard work and development he could be the one to step up. If not, he gets the experience of a lifetime. It keeps getting harder for a walk-on to get a spot on the starting rotation, but who knows.

Seems like a pretty good get without having to use a scholarship.
At the very least Clemson got a quality guy to run scout team in the coming years.
On the other hand there is a chance that Clemson gets a guy who comes in and turns into a good enough player to add to the depth chart.
It's a good time to be a Tiger when Clemson gets two of the top QBs in the state of South Carolina and doesn't use a football scholarship to get either one.
Helms numbers show that he was near the top of the state for QB's and Clemson also gets Dutch Fork's QB in Tyler Olenchuk to sign with the baseball team.
