building the program the last couple of years. Tough, tough loss today. But you’ve lost your mind if you are throwing the towel in and bashing coaches, etc…
We’ve lost 2 in a row in OT. One of those was to one of the better teams in the country, and the other was a rivalry game on the road. We have beaten Penn St. and Kentucky.
How about we let the conference play out before the bash fest begins.

Not sure where you got that from… I love dabo, he’s the best head coach currently in cfb.
Our basketball program has got to move on from Brownell though.

Dabo Swinney and Brad Brownell are completely different. Swinney is a Clemson legend who has a proven résumé with accolades such as 9 ACCs and 2 national championships. Brownell hasn’t done much of anything. His accomplishments include a sweet 16 and elite 8. While impressive, he hasn’t brought a conference championship to Clemson and his teams are inconsistent. In short, Brad hasn’t won a championship.

Dabo has been consistently consistent with 8 ACC Championships and 2 National Championships over 15 seasons ….Brad has been consistently inconsistent with no ACC championships and only a few Big Dance appearances in 15 seasons …….in other words one coach has been great and one has been only average at his best……no comparison between the two!

No doubt we have a good team, and I look forward to some good basketball over the next three or four months. But it is troubling that Brad’s teams perennially have trouble finishing close games.

Outside of a top 5 coach that brings in top talent, no one could do more than Brad has here. It takes big $$$$ to step to that level and CU is about football first. We best keep Brad to stay competitive! He gets a lot of of mediocre talent

Listen, Clyde. I don’t get emotional over wins or losses. Kentucky was a great win. It was the exception, not the rule. Get a few more pulse points before you start giving me advice. You have no idea of my experience or background. I’ve ridden this marble around the sun a whole lot of times.

We all know how conference play will play out which is why we can’t lose these types of games. I don’t think anyone but the crazies are throwing in the towel. I don’t think anyone is that upset about Memphis. There is valid frustration over seeing more of the same - losing to an inferior team. It REALLY doesn’t help that it’s the coots.

This is an “elite” defensive team. Brad is a defensive coach and stresses defense.
Remarkable job to let it happen AGAIN.
This team has a lot of talent and the roster is quite impressive. BUT I expect more winning and not more hard fought losses. I don’t get warm fuzzies losing in OT. It frickin’ sux!!!

Thank goodness Chase didn’t go pro. Wiggins shouldn’t see more than 8 minutes a game yet he’s starting. That’s tells you everything you need to know about our roster.

I agree! Tigers struggled but gutted it out to force OT. This team isn’t super talented, but playing well as a unit! Brownell is getting everything out of this group…. Lahkin was checked out and really hurt their chances tonight…. Still sucks losing to Carolina anytime, anywhere…
