this "##########"

I CHALLENGE a Clemson data or research freak to pinpoint the first time that "##########" was used. IT IS ALMOST UNIMAGINABLE THAT ANYONE WITHOUT AN ANTI CLEMSON PREJUDICE EVER THOUGHT TO USE THAT PHRASE. Other than 08 in Atlanta, that ridiculous Orange bowl score there is no basis for or way that insult should have any staying power. the obvious way to avoid that insult and derision is simply winning the vast majority of games-more BIG games.
Saturday night against FSU was NOT "##########" I'd love to come back at some of these a-hole sports media members ever using that phrase. Clemson is too great a brand, place and school to suffer that crap from anyone. ; / ( if you were not aware this BS was thrown around on twitter saturday night. It also made it into the Washington Post)

Totally agree. Besides, that stupid term only meant that we lost to a team that we were supposed to beat and were favored to win. It never meant losing to a team that was a double digit favorite to beat us.

Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory yet again deserves some criticism.(As much as I hate to say it) What about LSU losing at home in a big way to an unranked team or Florida once again getting slammed or ugay once again getting beat ny usuc. Bash some other teams already.

But these are all SEC teams so keep it on the DL.
Miss state goes from unranked to top 15. Haha. Even though it was pretty apparent that LSU is a very young team this year, and at no point should have came into the top 10.

Rece Davis on College Football Final one night a few years ago, pretty sure I watched him say it for the first time live. I'm an avid CFF fan. All the derivatives like "##########" at. al. just kind of sprung from that, spontaneous-like...

As to the term, "##########" we earned it. As to its application for anything describing last weekend, I dont think it is deserved. A new kicker who is inconsistent and a second string snapper who had a brain fart doesnt seem to equate to failing to live up to expectations. Neither does taking the No.1 team in the nation to overtime on their home turf.
That which caused us to lose last week is painful, but it aint ##########.

Considering the fact that I've been called an arrogant SOB

most of my long life, I can assure you that "##########" or "pulling a Clemson" roll off my back with great ease.
Therefore, my primary concern is one and one only: winning. Everything else, including numbnut, coined words or phrases pale into insignificance.

winning cures all of course as I said. however calling out dumb a&& media figures for using an artificially created jibe and expanding the use and definition of that slander is worth the email or letter to do so.

ATL, I don't know if it would be prudent to push the issue with folks who buy unlimited bandwidth and ink by the barrel....it could make matters even worse. But I certainly agree that the use of this term is disgusting and it infuriates me to hear it. It might well have just gone away if the Washington Post hadn't published that putrid article.

We did it with Boyd and we will continue to do it. Just need to execute and stick to QB power.
That's how the offense works. I don't think changing things at critical points in the game would be the wisest move.
