will be remembered as an "almost great season" unless this team goes on a run. There's no excuse for this team not to be 15-5 in the ACC (although I know the excuses will be made). It could have been a special regular season and not just a good one. Maybe it will be a special postseason.

I'm hoping this team will dig in now that it's really go time. Just seemed like they got comfortable and complacent with that ticket to the NCAA Tournament in their back pocket. I don't think they cared about double bye in ACC Tournament or high NCAA seed. I do believe this squad is capable of dialing it in and winning a couple NCAA games. The common thread in all the close losses was too many bricks from outside. Hopefully they can find that balance in the postseason.

I don't think they cared about double bye in ACC Tournament or high NCAA seed.
Great strategy, play more games in the conference tournament and harder teams in the first round of the NCAA.
Wait, the more I think about it this does sound like something Brad would come up with.

It does sound like BB's rationale after losses. He'd just say it's so hard to keep a team motivated all year to defend his team laying an egg.

It has been a really good season and with a great ACC and NCAA Tournament, our team can win more games than any Clemson in history. Plenty of shots have to fall and guys have to stay out of foul trouble but of course every team in every tournament says that.

The margin is razor thin.
I’m curious to hear why you think anything less than 15-5 is unacceptable though. What is that based on?
Do you know how many Clemson men’s basketball teams have ever finished an ACC season winning 75% or more of its conference games?

Didn't say unacceptable. Never used that word. And yes, I'm aware of the history. I believe I said it was a good year. But there was a chance for it to be a special regular season and it wasn't. Missed opportunities.

have been, we'll realize how awesome a coach he really is, but he's too humble to reveal it by actually winning. Look at those other coaches that win a lot and how big their egos are. It's disgusting, and so refreshing that Brad avoids all that when he could just as easily win a lot more.
