would have been crazy if it was this year: had it been, UGA could have played Clemson,GT, SECC, Peach Bowl (semifinal) and the national championship game is also in the same stadium, 5 games in the same stadium, insane.

GT is famous for manipulating the "sold out" game. Last year they closed the upper deck and cut three walk-on positions so they could claim full attendance.

ACC had a policy against selling home games for awhile because of Duke and Wake selling their home games.

Mostly against Clemson...

GT's AD figures they will lose the UGA anyway so might as well take the bigger MB money vs playing in Grant Field and deposit it in the GT NIL bank.

It has nothing to do with GT's stadium renovations. The bulk of that is adding a new building in one corner that overlooks the field and a mega jumbo tron on the other side. Would not interrupt any game. Has everything to do with the fact they are getting a 10 million dollar guarantee for moving that one game.
