Sounds like Simpson gave Muscoot the brush-off:
“They met with John and his mom,” Fort Dorchester coach Steve LaPrad said. “It was the first time he got to meet Muschamp, and same for me. He’s a good guy. They introduced themselves,, a new sheriff in town. They met for about 30 minutes. He (Simpson) didn’t really say anything. He went back to class. I know they were hoping he would come back by South Carolina. As of now, he hasn’t set a visit."

I guess Simpson's main concern was whether they'd be able to get enough of the jailbirds freed up for games on Saturdays. Reasonable question. Simpson must be a smart guy, so Muscoot should just find a more gullible recruit to try and deceive.
Go Tigers!

I thought you were going to say, "but it's the same crappy town."... Guess I jumped to a conclusion that wasn't there...

So I guess he thinks he is better than Spurrier....

I am not fond of Spurrier, but Muschamp has never done anything and couldn't hold Spurriers jock strap. "New Sheriff in Town". Real catchy and original, just like everything else Carolina. Blowhard is what he is.

I actually think CussChamp is a better recruiter....
Jan 14, 2016, 3:50 PM

than Spurrier. Spurrier was just too busy working on his handicap to concern himself with something as trivial or diminutive as recruiting which is why he was unable to replace the few good players he lost with equal or better talent. That and he was a self-absorbed a$$hat.
While CussChamp is the better recruiter, at least IMO, he's just not a very good coach.

MusCoot was a failure at Florida.....
Jan 14, 2016, 5:01 PM
|
|
He failed at a school with more history and tradition not to mention better facilities and talent compared to $CU. He even re-hired several of the same assistant coaches he had at Florida.
What in the name of all that is good and Holy would make any rational objective human that has any knowledge of college football think CussChamp will have more success at $CU?

Don't recruits see his track record of failure as a HC?
Jan 14, 2016, 9:58 PM
|

He recruited well at Fla. and that did not help at all. You got to think at some point kids are going to realize he is full of smoke. There are countless reports of shady promises and lies to recruits. I would be shocked if he has an 8 win season there.
