I don’t disagree with any of that. But another factor is people nationally are still a little skeptical about the Tigers’ comeback. I think we are going to have to beat someone good to make believers out of them. Beating Louisville and Pittsburgh probably won’t do it because they aren’t well respected either. Beating Miami in a potential ACCCG might do it because the media loves them some Miami.

We just have to keep winning, make the playoffs, win a couple of games, and then we may earn some respect.

#2 Alabama (-6.5) vs #1 Clemson lost 45-40 covered
#2 Ohio St (-1) vs #3 Clemson won 31-0 covered
#1 Alabama (-6.5) vs #2 Clemson won 35-31 covered
#4 Alabama (-3.5) vs #1 Clemson lost 24-6 did not cover
#2 Clemson (-10.5) vs #3 Notre Dame won 30-3 covered
#1 Alabama (-5) vs #2 Clemson won 44-16 covered


once we started getting respect and becoming favorites, we started laying eggs. Media might be in the right to be weary, tbh.

Agree, but we were still consistently ranked in the top four by the polls & the CFP committee. Now, there seems to be some hesitation about moving us higher than where we are now. Just gotta keep winning.

If we are #9 and 11-1, we get in the playoffs

We could get in without playing in the ACCCG.

Figure that if we stay at #9, in the following scenario ..

BIG champ
SEC champ
ACC champ
Big 12 champ get in with byes

That leaves a G5 champ below us to get in.
That leaves 7 more st large bids.

If we're higher than #12 we likely get in the playoffs.
