Things are never as good or bad as they seem....

Although we all know so much about the X's and O's, and Tigernet is a plethora of knowledge and modesty.....
Let's just see what they do with the remaining half of the season. Heading down to Miami with a bye week... I'll take that any day with this team. We have historically done very well down there.
Whatever the reason, Clemson seems to always have gained momentum as the season goes. Yeah, we may not have the WR or QB we became accustom to, but let these guys go do their thing.
If it turns out badly at the end of the season, I do believe Dabo will realize the hiring of former players with lack of experience coaching was not the right call and will change things. His number one thing has always been culture, so our success has given him the right to go all in on having guys that played for him and know the culture. If he is wrong, he will adjust.
Or... this team might figure it out. Or... maybe not. Time will tell. The sky is not falling.

The sky is not falling but it is getting a little cloudy. However, to your point, this too shall pass and hopefully, brighter days are ahead.

It could be partly cloudy or partly sunny.... its all perspective.
Our D is playing lights out.... Turnover bug... we all know about it. Field goal kicking... got it. But we are getting some of our best playmakers back this week.
Protect the ball... don't lose the game, and we will be just fine. With a little luck from teams we don't play, could be in Charlotte in the first Sat in December.

this is a very popular mindset on tnet.
let's see what we look like when we're healthy let's wait until Klubnik takes over and DJ's gone let's let Streeter learn the ropes of bigtime OC let's see what we look like when we don't beat ourselves let's wait and see until __________ let's see what we look like until after the ________ game
it's been minimum of three years watching atrocious offensive performances. Struggle wins get ignored and passed off as anomalies. While there have been some tweaks and changes by Dabo over the last year, he still ignores a couple BIG issues..........until he acknowledges that and starts "playing the game" this type of play will continue.

“It's not the X's and the O's, but the Jimmys and the Joes that make the difference.”
For last 2 years everyone (on Tnet), the top 2 reasons that we were in a slump was DJ and Streeter. Fans got the top 2 wishes granted, new QB and new OC. I'm not convinced that it has ever been a coaching issue. We had a run where we were extremely successful (or lucky) in having a very high % of our recruits pan out (NFL successful quality). Shoot, look at Etienne - he wasn't even our 1st choice (luck) and he fell into our laps. At the end of the day, I believe we just don't have the talent (with the right maturity level) like we had during our CFP runs. Sure, we have some top talents, but not at the college level ability right out of high school (like Watson, Lawrence, Watkins). This talent will shine through with experience (for our offense) - our defense has still been successful in their talent/recruiting assessments and a bit lucky on some that are able to massively contribute sooner than anticipated (Parker for one).

Things aren't "bad", we just are no longer elite and that is

disappointing once you've been there is all.
This cycle happens ALL THE TIME in sports. I don't see why everyone get's their panties in such a twist.
There is no way to continuously stay at the top, it will always ebb and flow.

of course it's a cycle........when you don't adapt.

Dabo refuses to do that...............so here we are.
he could've 100% stayed "elite"/top 5/CFP/National title Contender had he adapted, but his ego and pride prevented that.
