No, I think that Bama's number 1 goal will be to score more points than Clemson.

Don't kid yourself ... they'll go head hunting.

They tried to do it to Deshaun. They'll be trying to knock Trevor out. We should do the same to Tua; legally but we should try to ring his bell as hard and often as we can.

And pulled Gallman's legs like a wishbone after the Wistle.
All the zone reads will go to TL and they will take cheap shots

And, the OL should do their best to protect him!

I wish Dabo would publicly call Alabama out on this.

A preemptive strike of getting the conversation going about their dirty play and targeting hits on Deshaun and MW in the previous championship game would put the refs and everyone on alert and reduce the chances of it happening this time.

Agree. A reporter needs to start it. A few tweets with pictures and a question “ will Alabama repeat?” Should be sufficient

Dabo would never do that.

I believe the coaches continously point out bad behavior and rule infractions on the field during the game.
Venables was giving an official pure hale over ND's QB throwing the ball away after two handoffs. He wasn't the QB after that and it should have been down where he threw the ball.

They should take Chase out while he's on the bench.

Because they don't have enough film on him to know what will happen if he gets turned loose.

Well, not trying to stoke the fire, but they've already more or less said they're going to go headhunting because a couple of their 'stars' have already said their goal is to put 'fear into him' early.
So far I've noticed a lot of people hit Trevor only to kind of slide off of him without as much of an effect as they thought they'd have because...well he's a tree.
The real risk is if he is falling out of control on a run like in the Syracuse game (since it takes him so long to get to the ground there's potential for injury on the way down) or them blindsiding him with nasty hits. But so far, in our games, when he's seen players coming, I've noticed their inertia melts pretty quickly when they hit him.
Hoping for a safe game and no dirty hits, but if something bad does unfortunately happen, then all they will get next is Chase coming in pissed off and he's built like a little anvil or something. He has ice in his veins throwing the ball and likes to run over people. So yeah, that's what they'd get as a reward if they did knock Trevor out of the game.
