Officially announced for Wes happened last night.
Could new DC be still playing?
Probably Dabo just getti nh back as will have time to work it. I would be surprised if we don’t know early this week unless they are in the semifinals. Doubt it at this point though, that would be a long wait if they were.

Do you know for sure someone hasn't been hired and not announced yet? Everyone knows Dabo likes to keep e everything close to the chest and only give out information when he's ready. So everyone just needs to chill and see where the chips fall.

I just hope that shock doesn't have people throwing rocks at Dabo's house if he decides to give Nick Eason a chance. IMO, if there is a within the program hire that deserves a chance, it's Nick Eason!!!

With most coming back is what's saying to me that it will be Eason taking the DC job!!! I bet that Dabo tells all within the program hires that he hopes they realize if they fail, he will have to let them go, it's what a HC has to do!!!

Better he make a great hire than a quick hire. If you think about it, it is a multi step process. Reaching out to gage interest, initial conversation, official interviews, background checks, negotiation, etc. You could also get to the last step with your preferred candidate and they have a change of heart.

I recall reading that he wanted to first get his players back and get something for Blake Miller. Friday or Saturday Blake said he was returning. I expect the next piece will be announced this week. Rather, I’m looking forward and hoping to hear some good news this week.

Non playoff bowl season just ended and there are still 3 playoff games left. Did anyone ever stop to think that a new DC worth hiring is probably working for a team that's still playing; or was until recently. The fact that we retained literally all of our starters who were being pursued for transfer should be enough to convince the hysterical masses that Dabo is being wise in taking his time; and there's no need to rush the hires.
