Is it just Clemson sports that bring this out in you, or are you this way with everything in your life? As you age, you'll find that many things are just not that important to get upset about. Stop the finger pointing, and enjoy the games and the effort the players on both teams are giving. Each team wants to win every time they hit the field, but their can only be one winner in each contest.

Internal locus of control basically means you control your own destiny and that the reason you’re in the position you are at any moment, good or bad, is because of decisions you’ve made or actions taken. Basically: you control your own destiny.
External: it’s everyone else’s fault I’m where I am. And fate has dealt me a bad hand.
The OP said nothing about control of his life, other than how he reacts to the games. Not a great example of ILC
The guy you said has an external locus of control clearly stated why he would be indifferent and optimistic: low T. He recognizes that HIS body will do that to him. Sure, it was a joke. But he is applying a principle of ILC: “I won’t care, this is why: my body will forsake me.”
Further: boosters and fans CAN ultimately change the direction of a program. There is a reason coaches get fired even at the schools bringing in dollars and filling stadiums. Nebraska went through what, 4 coaches while still selling out every game?

Could you imagine having to work with some of these folks? Oh, wait, I think I remember some of them. Everything sucks, management is overpaid and doesn’t know what they are doing. I know everyone else’s job better than they do. Yep, I do remember some of those. Also remember firing a few of them.

You're very much correct. In the big scheme of things, Clemson sports don't really matter. However, being that Tigernet exists and was founded as a Clemson Sports website I would say complaining about Clemson's recent lackluster is certainly relevant. On a sports centered site, sports are king. Are they the most important thing in life?....not even close. Dont visit a sports site though if you don't expect fans to discuss the results of their favorite teams. Here at Tigernet that is all things Clemson, and mostly football. Seeing as how we yet again crapped the bed in the season opener i would say complaining is valid. Wanna discuss what's truly important in life? Thank you PIG!!! It’s what I was trying to say the other day but I lost my cool and went off!!! I just don’t understand ppl honestly if Clemson NEVER won another game it would not change my love for the tigers and I would still pull for them. I’m not saying I wouldn’t get discouraged but I would never voice it in public. And like you the older I get the less it bothers me because I know my tigers have done their best to win the game and that’s all I can ask.
