Miami reminds me of our 2016 team

Cam Ward is like a bigger Deshaun, Restrepo a more athletic Renfrow. Their D is inconsistent but athletic, especially on the D-line.

They are a confident team that plays unmotivated at times, but knows they can flip a switch and win the game. I don’t know if they have the leadership and coaching to put it all together like our 2016 team eventually did, but if they do, they will be very dangerous.

People forget how much that team struggled in the regular season. Lots of close games and stretches of uninspired football punctuated by moments of brilliance.

They only put it together after the wake up call at Pitt.

If i remember correctly the refs were a large reason why Pitt won and the head ref was the Scar graduate. I remember alot of questionable calls and no calls that game. Obviously didn't help that Venables had no answer for the shovel pass though.
