Much like Kentucky, UConn didn't get off to a great start, but has certainly been playing terrific ball the last few weeks....and they've basically had home court advantage for a while.

Still, SMU is a "better than average" team and beating UConn twice in the same season is nothing to sneer at....Clemson will have its hands full tomorrow nite.

They also lost to the 2 last place teams

in their conference despite beating some other ranked teams including a top 10 Cincinnati.

I believe Clemson has the athletic edge & with the extended rest should out-rebound its way to victory.

Hope so. I'd feel better if a 100% Jaron Blossomgame was playing major minutes.....however, I (like a lot of Tiger fans) have been eagerly awaiting something of an offensive breakout from Landry Nnoko....perhaps this will be the game.

In any event, the Tigers will need steady play from Hall and Harrison and offensive contributions from Roper, Filer, Aujukwa, and anyone else coming off the bench

It'd be nice to get some effort from that McDaniels fellow as well.....:~)

Hopefully we will match up well against them.***

Any team coached by Larry Brown will be......

Mar 31, 2014, 9:02 PM

a tough out. Brown is one of the best coaches to walk the sidelines and Brownell will be put to the ultimate test trying to out gameplan this guy. This will be the last time SMU will not be in the big dance as long as Brown is there!

Indeed ... the man is a winner. Any win ever over a coach like Brown is to be savored.

So Clemson beat Duke...(twice) and Pitt but

refs changed all that. I'm not worried. I'm a Tiger.

So we'll be national champs when we beat SMU?***

sounds like he was using carolina's logic. He assumes we beat SMU. SMU beat UCONN. Then he is assuming UCONN wins the NCAA tourney. Therefore making us national champions.
