There is only one problem with Clemson Football

THe problem is not Dabo, Tony, or DJ. There may be some faults in the play calling and some faults with the QB,but the problem is our offensive line. If we had four 5 star experienced lineman nobody would be complaining. We have continued to not be able to recruit the top of the line offensive linemaen.

We don’t have an O Line full of Bama like talent. However, most of them are 4 stars with a few 5 stars. We have talent there.
The problem is Robbie Caldwell. How many guys has he put in the NFL? He’s a lousy coach and developer, and it is Dabo’s fault he’s held on to this guy.

They also take forever to settle in on the starters, they are new and needed more time as the known starts, they'll get it together this weekend

ROSTER MANAGEMENT.
We have some highly rated guys...just not enough. Look at the numbers....its not enough playing 14-15 game seasons, dealing with transfers, in-season injuries, guys that don't pan out, etc.... Too many reaches and not offering enough to compensate when half of your five offers go elsewhere. Wish we would offer a few more higher ranked OL and expand the room a small bit. LOOK AT WHAT SAM PITTMAN IS DOING AT ARK.
OL group has been a problem for a long, long time. No reason for that based on outdated beliefs that don't quite jive with reality in today's game. We have been able to skirt by with it due to elite skill. I think there are some who enjoy taking a 2-3 star and taking a chance on developing them...but eventually, statistically,.....the law of averages is going to bite you. Pure stubbornness b/c Clemson has the national brand to work out of this problem...years ago.

A solid OL and we’d be undefeated and ranked #2, Bresee would be healthy, and all would be right it the universe.
It’s been a problem for years and is getting worse, not better.

I’ve looked at it from multiple angles, and here is what I keep coming back to.

Coaching.
If we don’t have the talent we need, then that’s on the coaches for not recruiting and developing the talent necessary to be successful.
If there are certain weaknesses on the team, then that’s on the coaches to scheme accordingly to accentuate our strengths and minimize our weaknesses.
If this staff needs something they aren’t getting in order to be successful, I’d love to know what it is. Because from where I sit, I see a staff that is paid handsomely to do their jobs, with the best facilities, administrative support, and fan support in college football.

The problem, with Clemson football, IMO, has nothing to with the "O"-line, or D.J. or T.E. or the lack of a quality WR that can spread the field, or the playbook or other teams figuring out our schemes. Rather it's complacency. Plain and simple the offense has gone soft and Dabo has no remedy ,but plenty of excuses. That needs to change Saturday. If Clemson sticks with the same old $#!+ we will not only lose to Boston College, but they may even put up more points than the 41 they put on Missouri. And if that happens this "crappy" offensive showing will garner only one thing; A trip to the Meinkie Car Crap Bowl.
