Lucrative deal with the SEC and putting enough chips on that to endorse, sponsor, produce, and own the SEC Network. No conspiring about it, just simple Capitalism. Now if the ACC can come up with enough cash to buy ESPN, then there will be another story. Won't happen though. Our conference had rather invest in creating better education, and you know, making a measurable difference in the world that will be felt even after football is forgotten for some future sport.

In all honesty, the top 5 schools in the SEC are academically on par with the top 5 in the ACC.
The crap UNC pulled is as bad and probably worse than anything that has happened in the SEC.
