And, I’m not one to live in the past, but I’m also not so naive as to think that our past does not contribute to our future…..
And therefore….
Given our current roster……
Methinks we have an extremely stacked squad on both sides of the ball…….
Granted we take care of business- I have formed an option that we have the team to take this all the way.
What say you?

I think this year will be the best chance we have had since 2019.. needless to say , injuries and some luck , will always play a big role in the outcome. If we get the breaks , I can see a 15-1/14-2 national championship type season or at least playing for the title... but injuries and catch another dull play calling game, say like Louisville or USuC game , we will bow out of the first round and finish 11-4 possible season. Cade needs to get that one season where he has a couple of Pitt type comeback games against top team like Ohio St. Or Texas in a playoff game... No more SMU games where as a coaching staff we take our foot off the gas after taking a big lead and we all have seen that happen more then we care to remember! I'm ready! Spot the #### ball... Go Tigers!!

That 2016 team played tight most the year due to just wanting to fast forward to playing Bama for the championship again, pressed some and felt the pressure but was talented enough to take care of business. With the expanded playoff we can afford a clunker game, as long as it’s not in the playoff. We don’t want them to peak too early either, it’s important they continue to develop all year, we don’t need our best right out the gate.

I've placed a $2500 bet on DrafKings for Clemson, at +2000, to win the natty. We'll see. Fingers crossed!

But more importantly, the entire team has to BELIEVE they can win it all!! We have the players to do it … we have the coaching to do it … we have the discipline to do it … now we need to play up to our ability … and just do it!
No matter the setbacks or mistakes … The mindset has to be to win EVERY play … in EACH and EVERY game!
And just as important, we need to stay grounded. We can’t think we’ve won the game just because we are who we are. We need to have the mindset the we are the “Clemson Juggernaut” and confirm it on every play!
If we do that, then we will end up with whatever we have earned… and I’m hoping that will be many games and an ACC and National Championship to boot!
GO TIGERS!!

Hopefully better defensive calls would have taken care of the capons.

Feel the coaching change there will make a difference on tackling, especially the QB.

i saw the same dline and secondary play in the spring game

that is saw play Louisville, Citdel, SCarolina, and Texas
... the linebacker position with Sammy Brown and Jerimiah Alexander is the big improvement when they play together
Ricardo Jones should start at safety
Amare Adams should be a starter on DLine and until he is the dline is the same can't stop the run group
.
when the defense wakes up and the best players play , then i say yes
but i saw wesco and moore ride bech in the UGA so i have zero confidence the Best Players will play
