When he said the coaching staff is probably as good as it’s ever been, Venables says “Good morning!”

Yeah I get being positive and upbeat and God bless him for that. But that’s a horribly untrue statement.

Dabo is either a liar or a fool if he believes that. Take your pick.

There’s a chance he’s a …oh what’s the word… a LEADER! And as a matter of fact, he has a track record of being a leader. Imagine that.
What else was he supposed to say on his stupid radio call-in show???
We have no idea what he is saying in the office. He may be having very tough conversations with Grisham, Austin, and whoever else. Do you think he needs to say that on his radio show?

Don’t bother these guys go around telling everyone and the world that everyone sucks and ain’t worth a ####. I’m pretty sure they’re very popular amongst people constantly pointing out everyone’s flaws for the public to hear. They have no idea what goes on behind closed doors, they’re just coming to realize just like the coots they’ve never liked Dabo they just liked the success he brought.

You don't know what everyone else does. Coach said something we all know isn't true and I think he's crazy enough to actually believe it.

I think he can be constructive and supportive in his comments without taking it beyond the realm of reality. To say this staff is as good as any he has had just seems pretty out there and calls into question his credibility. He seems to have a knack for hyperbole but it isn't really helping his image or brand, or ours for that matter.
I love him as our coach, I really do. But I miss the humble guy that used to be so good with his words and with the media.

Me, too, 79.......I was thinking the same thing the other day. Many times over the years, I would say to people that 'Dabo always seems to say the right thing".......now it is not so much. Seems he gets hung up on positivity and just blabs away without thinking. On the other had, how would I like to have a mic & camera shoved in my face every day after work when I am dog tired. NOT. That has to wear on a person mentally, so I can kinda understand it.

One of the more laughable things to do last year

was to sit on an Oklahoma site and watch the board jockeys there harangue BV and his supposed defensive wizardry. Sure OU had major talent issues; but it was clear that BV also had to settle in for a year just like when he first started at Clemson.
I would imagine that given his 10-15 year head start on Wes that Wes missed BV more than the other way around. But to suggest that BV didn’t have transition pains is a conceit that only Clemson TNET fools dare to suggest. It fits their agenda so they fail to realize just how stupid they sound.
