One in particular drove me crazy with his blatant ND bias. After he made the comment, they should “hammer these guys”, I had to turn off the sound. He was as ugly as the game. I know NBC has a contract with ND, but that broadcast came off as a hometown show. Made me sicker than the game. Almost.

you would like some objectivity in commentators, but according to them, ND NEVER committed a foul, despite the blatant holding that was almost never called. Hard to listen to.

For real. The sound mix was terrible. The kicker for me was when they said something like, this is Clemson's longest drive although it was aided by the referees. Who says that?? Sounds like something unprofessional that gamecock announcer would say.

lot of the things we've been doing all year caught up with us last night. We did not deserve to win, and we have to own that. Zero excuses.
Having said that, there were some other things worthy of criticism. The announcers were extremely biased and just God-awful all the way around. Also, officiating was abhorent once again. We get dinged for holding twice on our first series, then ND preceeds to hold and interfere with our receivers the rest of the game with no calls until the game was pretty much over, at which time the announcers blasted the refs. For the fockfaces who don't know the difference, that's not why we lost and is in no way any kind of excuse, but incompetent, inconsistent officiating is an ongoing problem and still a legitimate complaint.

Are you serious?? The purpose of NBC carrying their games isn’t to be objective. Since the contract started NBC has been the home Irish football. They literally want to do a homer call, especially in games where they are a perceived underdog against a Top 5 team. That’s what their whole audience wants. Jeeze

With it being an NBC broadcast, I kept trying to decide if it would have been better or worse with Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir doing the commentary.
