on that side of the ball and i still think Muschamp usually fields good defenses. I wouldn't call it "championship level" but i would expect them to be pretty good.
Unfortunately for them, you also have to score points to win football games and Muschamp has never been able to field a competent offensive team. I don't expect this year to be any different.

I will say, their defense is pretty talented. Jaycee Horn is one of the best CBs in the country. Mukuamu will play in the NFL. Jammie Robinson looked really good as a freshman. RJ Roderick is a 3 year starter. Their secondary is impressive. I think Ernest Jones is a good LB. They have recruited well on the defensive line.
Their offense is going to be abysmal. But their defense will be pretty stout, especially in the backend.

But dang if he didn’t get burned all day against us. I know Tee Higgins was a hard cover for him, but if he’s good shouldn’t he have won some of the day? I haven’t watched them all that much, maybe it’s the worst game he’s ever played, but I’ll say I wasn’t impressed.
