Just tell them the same thing I do...No YOU fear the thumb as in 5th place in the SEC which is pretty much where they'll always be. They will always be behind Bama, UGA, LSU, Florida and maybe even Auburn and Tennessee again soon. That works with the ones I have to deal with. Usually send them away with an uncomfortable smile and mumbling.

They have waited a long time to have a winning streak against us. We have had 3 4 game winning streaks against them since I have been alive.
I would just tell them "I guess that maybe it really it cyclical, although you wouldn't know it looking at the last 40 years".
What will happen going forward: We will find a way into the Big 12 East and we are about out of the "self-probation" that Dabo and our school put us on bringing in a 12-man class.

There have been several times that Clemson could have done that over the last few decades (80-83, 88-91, 97-00, 02-05). Not once did Clemson ever come up with a "Fear the Thumb" shirt. Do you know why? It is because beating SCar is something Clemson is supposed to do. Losing to them is more of a disgrace than beating them is an accomplishment.

What changes now? Tajh comes back? Everyone is a year older? That goes both ways....there is no one recruit you are bringing that will make your defense drastically better. I believe 5 in a row is enevitable. Every game tge past 4 years has been the same.
Advice: recruit mean ### linemen that like to play tough and physical. You need them on both sides. Yall bring in great skill guys but none of it matters if you are geyting killed on the lines.
