During the streak(the only thing USuC has to celebrate) they've had it made the week before the game.
2009 Open Date
2010 Troy
2011 Citadel
2012 Wofford
This year, we FINALLY got the cupcake week to heal up. Mark it down, stop worrying, the Tigers will yard drag the birds this year. They're starting on that gameplan today.No , it won't be 63-17 but it won't be a pointer either.

fact they had two weeks to prepare, when we had one week to prepare. I think the fact that they barely beat Troy,Citadel and Wofford in those years proves they spent time preparing for Clemson.

Sure once yard stomped we'll hear their excuses, but no their SEC schedule was no excuse, it's more like they NEEDED it to compete.

this current streak has all happened with an fbs non aq team (1), fcs teams (2), and a bye week. that's not exactly a tough row to hoe.

FWIT: Clemson played
3-9 UVA in 09, 3-9 Wake in 10, 8-5 NC State in 11 and 7-6 NC State last year.
Play Miami, VA Tech and FSU in November for over ten straight years and see if it helps or hurts in our game.
I hope Boyd is okay and 100% for our game.

So yeah even though they were bad BCS AQ schools we had to prepare in order to win. Unless we model after SCAR and slip up against the Tennesees of the world. a cupcake is a team you can beat in your sleep with your back ups.

And it is only part of ESPN's common language because they need a story and won't let it go. We have beaten unranked teams by 10+ more than anyone in the country but bama probably because all their upset games are to #25 ranked SEC powerhouses. Btw what is SCAR's streak at 1?

They had a qb that is starting for the turnaround team in the NFL and a WR that singlehandedly tore a team that was looking for a first round bye a new one. If you watched that game and not the score you would understand the way that game changed when the AE "fumble" was run back for a TD. Please tell me more about the loss to Navy #6 to 6-6 or 63-17

The loss was embarrassing but that team look like world beaters to start the 2012 season too. They were the perfect spread team to take advantage of our terrible defense and the team gave up after that fumble yes it did severely impact the game. Would they have beaten us by 37 if that play was called a TD?
