can't and won't alter climate change (if climate change is real) under the woke culture of today. Especially true for the elitist libs that like to preach but don't practice and continue to bury their head in the sand to facts and let emotion and their phone rule the day.

So when are you shutting the water off your toilets and going in the hole in your backyard.
When are you removing your home AC? You should recycle the copper and save energy by not using enormous amounts of power to keep your house at 68 deg.
When are you going to cut your food intake by 50% to reduce your personal carbon footprint?
ANSWER: Never.

Maybe one day you will realize who has controlled academia for years and maybe they have an agenda. The people funding the universities have control over what is taught.
Look at our medical education - The Rockefellers bought the industry to peddle pharmaceuticals. If they didn't like your methods they weren't funded and their agenda pushed. Now we have Gates added to the equation. It's not hard to see how the information and what is taught are controlled.
Climate change is the same way. Almost all of those "studies" rely on funding and funding controls the narrative. Follow the money.....
So much of what we "know" is a lie because that is what we were taught.

because doing so won't change a thing as I already know all I need to know.
"Climate change" is real, in that the climate is changing, and yes, man definitely has an impact on it, and we should strive for cleaner energy and and a cleaner environment, BUT .. life on earth will not end in x number of years if we don't immediately totally transition to wind and solar.
I already know that watching this video won't change that.

Name one thing the guy says that is wrong?
He is correct that Asia and developing countries will determine the fate of the world (assuming carbon emissions control is the goal).
He is correct that none of you will ever change your standard of living in a meaningful way to support climate change (if it exists).
Where does he go wrong?
Man, you people are easily programmed to be able to ignore anyone no matter what they say.
If Trump said the math quantity pi is the proportionality factor between a circle's diameter and circumference you would call bullchit.

energy, which most likely means eventually transitioning away from oil, but in the mean time, not feeling guilty about or persecuting people for utilizing oil based energy until cleaner sources become more practical and make sense on a large scale. Accept that we are better off if we do that, and head in that direction, but also accept that that oil may play a significant role for a long time, as in many decades.
As with most things, this doesn't have to be a political issue that divides us even further.

will come mostly from the O&G industry, they’ve already invested massively and will require a return. This past year should have shown everyone what happens when the oil market gets destabilized. Our oil industry is a matter of national security, period. The science will move us in the clean energy direction not politicos like McCarthy or AOC or Jenius Jim Jordan.

You are a ignorant dipchit I guess. It's not opinion that developing countries will continue developing and that massive numbers of humans, billions, will begin consuming more and more power.
For example: China is Currently Building Over Half of The World’s New Coal-based Power Plants. In 2021, China began building 33 gigawatts of coal-based power generation, according to the Helsinki-based Center for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA).
So, if you don't know it (which apparently is a lot of information) you don't believe it. Hmm.

Several sources (including ‘reactionary’ Time Magazine) cited the number of coal fired steam plants to come on-line during 2022 in P.R.China at 43.
I had read elsewhere that the typical design for such steam plants was for a generating capacity in the 400 MW to 700 MW range.
(I haven’t re-checked this out in a long time, and don’t intend to do so again any time soon.)
I am quite confident that you underestimated P.R.China’s commitment with regard to CO2 emissions.

If you were not averse to looking at something that might express a point of view than the one in which you were so deeply invested … and THEN offer your perspectives about what, where, and why that other information is wrong … then your opinions would garner more respect.
Simply saying that neither you nor anyone else should not read something because you have a premonition that it is wrong is akin to the flat earther crowd.

Clip will resonate to intellectuals with social awareness

[ in reply to I didn't watch any of it, and I never watch this stuff ] |

The clip is actually more of a social statement than a science controversy speech.
The speaker’s intention is to assume that everyone in the world shares a unanimous belief that man-made CO2 is the entire reason for any changes in climate.
Not suggesting that you should take my word for it, but I recognize you as being simultaneously intellectually curious and socially aware.
This clip will resonate to a person like you.
