according to most post on here. But, I believe many feel this way because of the following observations.
1.We’re not used to losing.
2. We don’t see the same fire and excellence from our coaching staff.
3. The Gamecocks seem to be drastically improving with the transfer portal and haven’t gotten even one.
4. Being in the ACC is hurting our strength of schedule and finances.
5. We clearly the SEC has the upper hand on controlling many things.
6. We don’t feel in control of anything including our own conference.
7. All we’re seeing is one discouraging post after another on this message board.
Dabo is right about one thing for sure. We have been spoiled by all the winning in the past.
Folks, the sky is not falling.
Yes, there will need to be some major adjustments after this season. But, we still only have two losses this season. Every team out there regardless of pedigree has experienced major setbacks before. We will be okay!

Of course CU has a better record, they play schools that are the equivalent to my username. But tbh Dabo better get aboard the transfer portal train or the door/window is going to close on him. Good luck in 2 weeks

which of these statements is not true.
1. There is an extreme bias for the B10 and SEC in all ranking systems.
2. The SEC and B10 teams make a shite-ton more $$$ than all other conferences.
3. The SEC and B10 are threatening to break off and do their own thing (take their ball and go home)
4. Swofford sold his soul and the ACC for dirt cheap, but hey his and his son's pockets were lined.

Have we stayed away from the pay for play

We were anything but vs a mediocre Louisville squad with no chance at making the CFP at home off a bye, vs a good but mercurial Georgia in the opener; the rest of the our opponents have been trash.

It's no different than what businesses do when they practice corporate headhunting.
The NCAA rules against it are toothless.
They don't even pretend to try to enforce it any more. Because, they're tired of losing court cases and multi billion *$$ settlements.

Again the rules aren't toothless as coaches and programs can be sanctioned for it. Those institutions and their employees agreed to the rules by being members of the NCAA. The courts have not reversed that, nor is there any known attempt to ask them to.
If you want I can trot out the evidence again. It is irrefutable evidence that you are once again WRONG.

but the playoffs now are tilted towards the SEC and Big10. Even if a team is undefeated and a conference champion you may not get in (FSU). And even worse, the SEC and Big10 teams will be getting the majority of the home games...

Now if you win the conference you get an automatic bid so fsu would have made it last year. Just saying lol everything else is true as far as way less money and sec/big 10 run things with the amount of money espn and Fox has into those conferences! Go Tigers!!

We are about to sign our 4th straight class that doesn't finish in the top 10.
In fact, this class probably won't finish in the top 20.
And we don't take the portal/NIL seriously.
I just don't see how we compete for championships if both of those trends continue.
