The ship is sinking

And anyone ignorant enough to disagree is looking at this through orange colored lenses. An exodus of transfers, decommits, and internal hiring for the coordinator positions is not best is the standard. Dabo needs to step up and not make this a luxury program only offering a handful of people and a bring recruits. We are down like 20 scholarships and to fill those in Dabo will take some low 3 stars and walk one from Daniel high.

Dabo hasn’t announced any coaches to this point. The ship is not sinking - but feel free to abandon the Clemson ship now. All in or all out - bye.

Leading up to our 2016 National Championship our recruiting rankings were as follows:
2012 20Th 2013 15th 2014 16th 2015 9th
Yes, with decommitments, we've dropped to 14th This is the early signing period, plenty of time to find more players.
The ship is not sinking. Thankfully, the Captain of the ship is not willing to give up as quickly as you.

I don't proclaim to be a know it all, but I would ask you if those players you say are transferring out are players that are on scholarship, and that contributed on the field or 2nd or 3 string playing only mop-up duty. As to the decommit's I am a firm believer that players who attend Clemson do so for the University first, Dabo secondly and the coordinators after that, and if a coach leaves and a player decides he wants to play more for that coach then let him go because that tells me he isn't really "ALL-IN". Finally sometimes internal hires can help to stabilize the program and keep some of those players who are considering transferring out from doing so. And I have no idea what you are referring to as a luxury program. So maybe we are down to 20 scholarships, but there is always next year. I don't know what to expect next year ,and maybe it does take another year to bring things back to stability. Clemson had a substandard year by anybody's definition but we are still the the best program, MO, in the ACC and if you win the conference Championship chances are you will be right back in the Title hunt.

First of all coaches are leaving because of our success. You know, if you’re good at what you do someone comes along and offers you a better job with more money. This happens in any business. This is what happens at top programs all over the country.
When your roster is stacked with talent players transfer to get playing time. This has been made too easy with the transfer portal. Again this is happening at top programs all over the country. See Alabama.
Third of all decommitments happen with coaching changes all over the country.
Last but not least before there was Tony, before there was Venables there was Dabo. He built Clemson into what it is.
As for how NIL and the portal will effect Clemson in the long run? We will see but none of the coaching changes, transfers or decommitments are an indication that anything is majorly wrong. What it is an indication of is that Clemson has been extremely successful, recruited extremely well and that it is way too easy for kids to transfer.
You’re welcome. FGF is that way———>

Not seeing any hitting the portal that are not just seeing the writing on the wall and wants playing time. It is what it is and glad they have an easier avenue to get immediate playing time for someone that can use them.

Please … this is hilarious…listen…all fans, players, coaches..if you are thinking about leaving then go…leave now…we wish you no Ill will, appreciate your time here and will always hope you are successful…you are a Tiger forever…but if you have doubt then go ahead and get the heck out…we were great before you got here and we will be great after you leave…best wishes but just go ahead and do it so we can get on with getting on …
reminds me of a friend of mine when I was in high school that was being recruited by Barry Switzer of OU back in the mid 80’s…during his in home visit Switzer told him … “Charles, if you come to OU then we are gonna win a National Championship, but if you don’t come to OU then we are still gonna win a National Championsip!!! You need to decide if you want to be a part of that or not!!!”
He went to NC State and needless to say, never won anything but did end up in the pros and had a good career!!! Great guy also fwiw!!!

I posted months ago that Clemson would be brought down by outside forces. ESPN and other media outlets, the TP, NIL and now players are transferring out. Players who I feel that could be big contributors next year. Most transfers do not work out for the players.
I don’t think the ship is sinking at Clemson. I believe the college football model is on the verge of imploding.

A little dramatic. There are issues with the ship but it is not close to sinking. There are solutions. No need to jump overboard.
