Don’t back down, full throttle the whole game on offense, our players got soft so they can’t handle the counter attack of aggressive teams, like Georgia and Louisville. Clemson plays physical on defense for about a Quarter, then slacks off the rest of the game. Against better teams, we rely on Mafah too much, and Abandon our usual offensive game plan for some reason. Don’t play nearly as loose against better teams. Basically it boils down to beating scaredey cat against decent or good opponents.

This has to be the worst take yet. Mafah barely touched the ball in the first half. If we had relied on him in the first half we probably would have won.

Well when you don't try to attack the entire field and try to hit the sidelines only against 2 high it can get ugly especially if the OL is getting pushed around.

So you're saying that before Saturday there were some teams that thought the secret to beating Clemson was by shrinking away and playing at half speed? Please don't share this new secret anywhere else.
