After Georgia's softball win over Clemson, the SEC holds a 19-4-1 record against the ACC. 12 of the 13 SEC teams are ranked in the softball top 25 (Vandy doesn't play softball). By the way, future SEC teams Oklahoma and Texas are ranked 1 and 2. That would make 15 ranked teams from one conference.

3 big contributors to uga were transfers from the acc teams. Just means more $$$$$.

Money rules the world. These girls have zero outlook for professional earnings in their sport.

Please explain to me why you would leave potential earnings on the table?

Even if its just 50k it could be a life changing amount of money for someone.

Schools have definitely taken that SEC money and spread it across all sports. The conference’s profile has risen dramatically and they basically dominate all major sports. Their academic profile has increased as a result. Books will be written on their branding and marketing.

the SEC has not won a softball national title since 2015

and not had a team in the championship series since 2017. The ACC has a more recent one with FSU and also more recent title series appearances.
