Henry or McCaffrey will be ahead of him this year. If I had to pick from those two, I'd like to see McCaffrey get it since he is just more important to his team.

Florida was never winning that game, and any other back for

Bama would be more than an adequate replacement. Henry might be better than whoever else they trotted out there to replace him, but not THAT much better. Ingram, Lacy, Richardson, now Henry. Heck even Glen Coffee averaged 5.9 ypc in 2008.
It's just as much the system, the OL, and the fact that their defense keeps opposing offenses off the field and allows their offense to wear the other team down.

Exactly. Does anybody believe Keyon Drake doesn't get 190 yards on 44 carries in that offense.

You could drive a Buick through the holes that the Alabama OL punches in defenses. Henry's only impressive stat is his durability, which is largely due to the fact that he is big and does not make many cuts.
If anyone beats out DW, I would root for McCaffery, who is a bona fide freak of nature.

Henry (Alabama) and McCaffrey (Stanford) play for teams that are favored by the media. Neither athlete has done what Watson has done this year.

where Derrick Henry or Christian McCaffrey was in the loss(es).
Watson was there in every game and that's why we're the only team with no loss.

The committee should use football sense and not media/favorite sense.

DW4 for Heisman, the reality is he will be the favorite

going into 2016. I look for incredible things out of Deshaun next year too and everybody will know who he is. Dabo is making the Heisman possible at Clemson. I'm praying he wins it this year, ESPN doesn't own the right to call the Heisman, Just influence it.
None of our recruits should ever think the Heisman is impossible at Clemson. It is coming this year or next, don't count Deshaun out!
Dabo and this team is making the whole nation aware that Clemson is a big time program, the very best school and their are no better fans anywhere. That stadium last night was 85% Tigers.
Thanks to Tiger Nation the very best fans at making Clemson a household name!

McCaffrey should get some kind of an award for being a white kid running back. It's pretty rare.

Nearly all of the press has wanted a RB this year

Since the talk about Heisman started about February, there has this drive for a RB. I've even read articles talking about how it is time because the year ends in 5 or something mystical like that.
And since it is a vote, most people are influenced by all of that. It's like a political campaign. So since Henry has been given every chance to bump up his numbers, and since he didn't do anything in the championship to erode those numbers even though he needed almost 45 carries again.
If I bet on it I would bet on Henry.

It is clear who is best player in ncaa. Just like tigers sit at #1 for 6 wks while people made cases for other - people who have actual brains will award heisman. It's dw or Henry - and dw plays for the #1 team in the nation who is undefeated while he leads. Sthu
