but it may depending on if we play clean or sloppy. Its cliche, but it does come down to us, not the other teams. They rely heavily on Shrader's legs to convert and move the chains. Theyre not explosive. I dont see them scoring many points, but hopefully this loss didnt take the air out of us.

The game is not going to be fun to watch. Syracuse is scrappy and always plays us tough. Especially coming off a very emotional game like today, it’s definitely going to be a battle. A must-win game.

USuC, Tennessee, Duke, and FSU. Only win was UNC. Funny thing... we outgained Tennessee and FSU by over 100yds, and Duke by around 50yds. We are competing, if not out-playing teams. We just invent stupid ways to lose games.

We get some stops, get up 10 early. Then we have some penalties that kill some drives, maybe a missed FG. We turn it over. They finally break through and score. Then its a dog fight the 2H.
I hate to say it, but that seems like the trend in recent year even when we've won.

It may be a war. People aren't going to like this post. Our losses and especially today is ALL coaches. I'm disappointed Dabo didn't apologize in his presser to the players and accept responsibility. Every coach should have apologized. The players left it all on the field. Poor coach calls offense and defense lost this game. They lost the Duke game too.
Don't give me this bs turnover excuse. A lot of the turnovers this year is the play call and the preparation by the coaches. Not sure what the coaches saw in fall camp but in Duke game, Dabo didn't play his best players. Same with D. It's pitiful to think we should be 4-0. In 2017 with these players, we'd have won b2b Natties. Coaches.

He did allude to some coaching mistakes, but like you, I thought that he should have taken full responsibility. There were both poor play calls and situational errors that screamed poor preparation that had me questioning the coaches.
Since it unfortunately needs to be stated on here, I am not saying that we don't have the right coaches for the job. I am just saying that they did a poor job this week.

While I agree with you 100%, Dabo is never going to apologize for anything. He has 2 goals - win and keep the money coming in. When they win, no problem - the money comes in. When they lose, he immediately goes into stop/prevention mode and basically says the same thing over and over. After all, what donor wants to give to a team the coach is apologizing for/to? PR folks are managing the message - that's why the coordinators aren't giving pressers this year - they might divert from the company message. And if you listen to Cade, he says the exact same things. The Clemson PR folks are managing all communications with the public.

If we lose to that team it will be because our coaches weren’t capable of preparing superior talent to maximize their potential. If we lose to them it will be a bigger disgrace than losing to the coots last year at home.
