14-7 is just enough. 34-7 is putting the nail in the coffin by putting up 4 TDs in the 4th quarter. Shoddy headline.

I am happy that our sleeping O line finally woke up! But seriously, BC 's D- line was pretty darn good, so I give them big Kudos!! I LOVE our guys and their "Never quit" attitude. Just enough is 7 and under ..We had the potential to score more than we did, but it was by far more than "Just enough".

They did just enough for the first 3 quarters to have a tied game... which means that if BC had more depth, they could have matched our efficiency on offense, the supposedly best in the country... a wake up call!

I have a completely different take away

I have no doubt we could have opened things up and threw the play book at em and had early success and maybe put this to rest a bit earlier. But why show more of our hand to future opponents. I think our coaches watched BC tape, knew they had depth issues, knew you had a northern team with no depth coming down to play in a warm/humid environment, knew they had a defense they could count on, and went all Danny Ford on them and ran the ball to death until they completely wore them down and opened up the flood gates in the 4th quarter. However, I am concerned with the pass protection and KB still not being able to get rid of the ball someway somehow to avoid the big negative plays.

Sorry, title got it wrong. Poor O play delayed the outcome, but 4th quarter was as dominating 15 min as we have had this year. Overall, several mistakes, poor blocking at times and too much Bryant running was offset by an outstanding D effort and the stellar 4th Qtr.

I agree with you about KB running too much. They were too predictable, especially when he cut outside. He was much more effective following the OL blocks on the inside.

That headline sucks! Just enough means we beat them by a point or 2. This was decisive. Take that headline back, please!!!

Christian Groomes

Pretty sure Alex Spence did not handle ALL of the kickoff duties. I saw #39 out there and I know I heard the PA announcer call Christian Groomes' name at least once on a kickoff.
