What does buying a football ticket have to do with immigrants coming into the country?

He is saying some of you are pointing your fingers in the wrong direction, when it comes to the problems that affect us the most in this country, corporate greed and an investor class that sits on its collective a>ss, producing nothing, and skimming off the top of everything, thus creating a wealth disparity that allows people to pay 1200 for a football ticket with money they find in their ouch, despite not working for a living.

Haha your comment reminds me of George Carlin’s “It’s a big club, and you ain’t in it” routine. I would link it but the language is kind of rough.

They wouldn't cost that much if people weren't willing to pay it. Complaining about ticket prices is like complaining about athletes getting big NIL deals. You can stay home and watch the game on TV if tickets are out of your price range.

When he says decent seats he is talking about lower deck 50 yard line aka ELITE SEATS. Go on stubhub right now there are plenty that are much cheaper. Just depends on what you think decent seats are

There was a time when a family could go to a ballgame and not spend

a weeks pay or more to watch the game, have food and beverages.
For the middle class, that time is no longer here.
To think dropping $1200 to watch a game, even is wealthy, just sounds like a dumb idea. 3 hours of entertainment, either wonderful or a terrible experience if your team wins/loses or plays poorly, sitting in traffic, paying huge bucks for food/beverage....just really seems like a all-together bad experience.
To each their own, god bless those who are capable/willing to pay it.
Go Tigers, beat those Dawgs!!

It’s not just $1200.
To take a family of four that would be $4800 not counting expenses.
So 5 grand to take your family to a football game.

Yep. High-speed internet and streaming service(s) about $1500 per year and watch any game you can't attend vice $1200 for 1 ticket. Nope. I didn't pay close to that amount per ticket to see the Tigers - LSU NC in NOLA on Clemson side at 10 yard line.

they are completely free and you are guaranteed a great seat up close to the courts.
Even if you aren't a big tennis fan you can check out a different sport with good energy with Multiple courts going at once for constant action. Crowd and players get into it to, unlike the sometimes quiet pro tennis feel.

Over inflated ticket prices and national security threats. Please elaborate on which is more significant. And if you think all border crossers are just “trying to make a buck”, you are as delusional as the coots.
