Anyway, according to this article Ole C-0-Cky is Beamer's nickname and an opposing coach's interview said Beamer is "Dead in the Water!" and he wasn't ready to be a head coach. Says he is on the hot seat.
Another coach said the best thing he coukd have done to save his lockeroom was the hiring of Shawn Elliott. Sure sounds like Beamer might have hired his replacement if he has another 5-7 record this year.
I am still stuck on his Nickname, curious who calls him that?

In reality, the coots football program has been dead in the water under any coach. Been that way for 130+ years. Although Beamer brings an extra special dead in the water quality.
