She is going from Director of Compliance for a large corporation to VP of compliance for another large corporation.
Obviously this comes w a significant raise, 35k a year for a car, 20% bonus. Basically my salary would no longer be needed.
So I asked her if I could be a stay at home Dad. My pitch was this, I’ll cook dinner every night, I’ll clean the house, and I’ll eat her out twice a week. Seemed like a decent proposal but she said NO! Said all our kids are teenagers and they don’t need a stay at home Dad.
How do I sweeten the deal? Working is for the birds.

Or that you would take up sewing so you can "make from scratch" the best clothing she has ever worn?
Maybe you could mention that you will use your time at home to terrorize the kids so they will want to leave upon high school graduation. I'm sure there must be other options too.

just try to get severely injured so you can at sit home and collect disability checks and it all works out the same. Also, use the money from the disability checks for cocaine and internet pr0n.
