Brad has relied heavily on transfers since his very first season here as his HS recruit retention rate has always been on the low side. Difference is recently they don't have to sit a year.

agree we now have lost sheff, lahkin, hunter,and wiggins, zackery, asa thomas, and dell jones. This will be an entirely new team that has never played together , hard to have any continuity with this dynamic. having said that it makes no diffrence with ole Brad calling the shots anyway. There is light at the end of the tunnel and yes it is a train!

Problem is, EVERY YEAR he has to "get his guys in here" because his recruiting is slim to none; it's nearly all portal players who are either only here for a year or the kind of player who likes to move every year.

Smart ##### on this thread. The only one that leaves a small mark is Jones. Wiggins had three years and never played to his size. Most of time he looked lost. Roster gets a reboot. There will be plenty of good players who want to come to a program that has won almost 80 games in the past three seasons.

But to your point, it seems illogical to think that a whole bunch of kids will want to come play for a program with 80 wins when all the kids who actually were* playing for the same program suddenly want to leave.
I think therefore it may just be Brownell -- not the facilities, not the competition, not the school, nor the fan base.

Wait. Players want to come to Clemson? I thought Clemson couldn’t compete at basketball and we should bow down and worship Brownell for putting up with such a miserable institution.
