I like your enthusiasm and I want Clemson to win but with these offensive linemen hurt and the line not playing well I don’t know how we are going to win.

If and it is a huge if, we can average 3.5 yards per carry, that is a recipe for keeping the game close and opening up some passing lanes. Stopping Estime and the Irish run is a different story and that has to happen because we have so many guys hurt on offense.

Put together four amazing quarters of football and win. It’s crazy that it’s the ninth game and we still haven’t played up to our potential. That’s gotta to be on the coaches.
We’ll see! I’ll be there! Can’t wait to be back in the Valley I just don’t think we’ll win.

Sometimes adversity DOES create unseen advantages..as Clemson in the past has seen from inferior teams they have unexpectedly lost to.

I can't even remember when TNet and so many others go AGAINST us
I guess we have sunk that far!
BUT I can never forget the excitement of the 'bring your own guts" game and the thrill of winning when we had yet to win anything big. Yet we KNEW it was coming.
At that time and right now, we probably did not have the best roster but what we did have then was some players who simply refused to lose and made the plays they needed to make when they needed to make them.
I also think back to 1977 when we had a lesser roster yet some guys, many of you don't remember, named Steve Fuller and Jerry Butler and others, made enough plays to put us in position to win the game, yet we weren't quite ready to win a game of that magnitude as ND and another guy, some are too young to remember, named Joe Montana, went on to win that game and the Natty that year.
And then there's last year when we were physically whipped, taken to the woodshed, thoroughly embarrassed and left South Bend humilited with with our heads tucked neatly beneath our tails in defeat.
I have no idea what we will see tomorrow and which of those games it will look like, but what I WANT to see is a crowd excited like it was in 1977 and 2015, a team that plays to beat the odds like it did in 1977 and somehow some way, to find a player on either side of the ball that will make a PLAY that changes the game in our favor.
