If TiGERs had advanced, could the D have stopped ASUs RB?

Saying, he is a bowling ball on steroids and only 2nd in yardage to that beast at Boise St.

What thinks you of that “now-gone” possibility and match up that Texas has to handle now.

We couldn’t stop the Citadel, there’s no reason to believe we could stop ASU.

We would give up 200 + rushing yards per usual against good rushing teams. I think our offense would do fine, it probably would be a shoot out that went down to the wire like the SMU game.

the odds of winning that game would've been against us.....

we're 1-7 against OOC P4/5 teams w/ 8 or more wins the last 4 years.

The ACC has definitely insulated us during our downfall.

No we couldn’t stop Abbeville High School from running the ball

Nope-but we would drop 40 on them.

Teams are so different from a scheme and personell standpoint that it's hard to say how effective he would have been against Clemson or Clemson stopping him. He's a different type of runner compared to these speedy backs that we've seen with Texas. Personally, I think Texas wins the line of scrimmage, and makes him dance in the backfield. The Sun Devils will find running hard to do. Texas wins fairly easily.

Could we stop anyone's running game? Even the Citadel put up 300 on us.
