Calling All Clemson Men…

Its time to call out the losers in our fanbase.
It’s so sad to see some of you act like spoiled babies. We are all disappointed. We have had a great run and faced with a little adversity, you trash the very people that brought us to the promised land.
I’m glad our players aren’t as weak as some in our fan base. Some of you should be ashamed. It’s time the rest of us call you out for bailing on the very people that have taken us to heights we could never imagine. Shame on you.
Clemson is a family and we should close ranks around a struggling football team. Some of us appreciate the last decade because we remember the Tommy West and Tommy Bowden years. It’s a football game and everyone has an off year. Sometimes you have to eat at the sizzler to really appreciate Ruth Chris. If your joy is dependent on 18 year olds, I really feel sorry for you. The sun will come up tomorrow and things will get better.
A real Clemson man would support his school and his team through the good and the bad. Your negativity and armchair quarterbacking is insufferable. Winning your neighborhood Madden championship, doesn’t qualify you to replace our offensive coordinator or our head coach.
Grow up, man up and (most importantly) shut up.

Your presumption that because we are being critical

Of how coaches who are being paid multi millions a year allowed this football program to fall into this much disrepair this fast means we are not Clemson men is dead wrong. We care more about Clemson and this football program more than those who just cursorily shrug their shoulders at this malfeasance and say “oh well”.
And no Clemson man tells another Clemson to “shut up” just because he is criticizing those he believes are doing a disservice to this program and to this university by being stubborn and/or not self critical.
Nuff said!
Now looking forward to seeing the adjustments made by the coaching staff this week against BC and also looking forward to Dabo stopping with his “bandwagon fans” BS and glossing over the obvious issues. Loyalty is admirable until it becomes a fault. Same with being stubborn and unwilling to change with the times.
Let’s see if the coaching staff has some answers now and actually gets it and stops harping on execution. It is their job to have gotten the players coached up to execute! And those players who are too slow or unwilling to learn amd show they can execute need to be sat down until they figure it out! THAT is the coaches responsibility.

You mean that the same coaches that pulled us out of a seasonal 7-6 loss in the Music City Bowl for what, 20 years to bring us 2 natties and six playoff pushes?
Sorry, ain't buying it. The best coaches are not just the ones that win the most, but rather the ones that keep hustling. Just about all legendary have at least a bad season or two even in their 20 year runs. With the transfer portal the way it is, I would expect it to be a lot worse for modern coaches.
Complaining about a coach and yelling "fire em all" is what coots do... shoot first and then think.

NOT!
I've expressed my concerns, but I have never called any Clemson fan, player, coaches or staff a loser.
I'm curious to know when we should start showing our concerns for the program and what we should say. Should we wait until our program start looking like nebraska's program or fsu's program?
I bet you're one of those fans who lectured us about Brownell. While many wanted to get rid of him his first 4 years, I waited until his 10th year. That's because I didn't see any improvement at all.
So spare me your advice.
I'm disappointed with the recent results, but that doesn't mean I've thrown away or hidden my Clemson stuff. I still wore my Clemson stuff in a community that doesn't have a lot of Clemson fans
I'm concerned.

I remember it taking 4 hours to bake a potato, but I do not want to return to that.
OL development has been lacking for years. It’s the root to all of our problems. I expected it to get fixed years ago, and I can say that and still be a fan.
It sounds like you wouldn’t be OK with us being the 112th ranked fan base.

There’s really no comparison and there’s no substitute for doing things right. The quick and easy solution is almost never the best long term plan. Can’t fix this with Flex Seal.

Call me a loser ,or a coot, I don't care, but I will close ranks around this struggling football team only when our Head Coach admits there is a problem and then does something to fix it. I am tired of excuses, and lip service" ie; "Tony Elliott is Brilliant", or "We are who we are" or we had too many penalties ,yaddah, yaddah. And if "The Best is the Standard" is the team motto ,well there are 104 teams in the country with better offense's then we have. After 3 games( I won't include S.C. State), not once Dabo pulled D.J .for at even one series,or made a QB change all together, or run some different formations. And why is Justin still in the slot or why is the team is wasting a down on a useless Rob Spence type of Wide Receiver "bubble screen" that obviously don't work. And where has Robbie Caldwell been? And why is Dabo so willing to say goodbye to a player who is part of the problem and who enters the portal, but refuses to use it to bring in a player who might be part of the answer. No, I think this season comes down to one game, the game with Boston College. This now becomes the only game that matters and if Dabo sticks with the "status quo "then you have your answer. This season will be over and the coaching staff, not the fans will be the one's who have abandoned the team. Oh ,and for the record, I don't play Madden football, but maybe that is what our playbook is.

I don’t believe this problem can be fixed with the current QB. He is not mobile, not accurate, indecisive and he telegraphs his passes. I think we missed on him. Unfortunately, these days when you miss on a QB, he’s likely the only one you have because of the transfer portal. I truly believe with Deshaun at QB, we are undefeated at this point. I think the jury is still out on Elliott, but it’s hard to have a successful offensive scheme when your QB can’t execute.

I love my wife, kids and grandkids but I tell them when I think they are not doing the right thing just as I expect them to do the same to me.
I am a Clemson man and have expressed my opinion about the current state of Tiger football and read the opinions of others. What are you suggesting? Do you want to "cancel" all TNetters who don't have your view or opinion and won't turn a blind eye to the situation? I believe the offense will get fixed, however, since after the UGA game all we've heard is we will fix it and the Tiger offensive performance continues to drop each week.

Amen & amen 100x . Fact is , half of these oversight keyboard experts are just sad nothing burgers who have no real value in society. They act tough online but wouldn’t say peep to someone’s face . Let’s be honest . They’re all soyboys and we all know it .

I could care less about “likes” and “my pulse”. Enjoy your pulse, some of us don’t need confirmation from others. I hope mine goes to zero as long as I’m speaking the truth.
For the rest of you, enjoy your b!tch sessions. What will it accomplish? Negativity is a cancer and many of you are complicit in it spreading. Shame on you.
I BELIEVE in the guy that spoiled the very people complaining and now considering suicide. If you don’t… yes, I’m calling you out.

"losers" for starters. What a self-righteous hypocrite you are. So-called "Clemson men" like YOU are the ones who are insufferable. Grow up and grow a pair.
The criticism of our offensive coaches is not only warranted, I'd go as far as to say with the amount of money they are being paid, it invites criticism. WE HAVE THE HIGHEST PAID OC IN THE COUNTRY AND IN RETURN WE GET THE 4TH WORSE OFFENSE IN THE COUNTRY STATS-WISE ON A ROSTER LOADED WITH 4 & 5 STARS. Unacceptable.
Are you seriously telling us we should just shut up and accept it? How much do you contribute to IPTAY, Mr. Keyboard warrior? I'm a Clemson fan first, and a Dabo fan second as long as he wins. Put that in your self-righteous pipe and smoke it.

Disclaimer - this is my opinion and I’m entitled to it just like everyone else. I think all of us who care about Clemson are upset and concerned. What creates issues is how we express it. I, personally, think it’s too soon to start calling for coaching changes but we are all allowed to have different opinions. I really hate to see comments that take on a personal nature but again y’all have the right to free speech. What will bother me more than anything else will be when the “fans” in DV start booing players or coaches during a game. And if we don’t play well Saturday it’s bound to happen. I heard NC ST fans booing last week when their offense didn’t convert and I don’t want to be like them in any way. Our job as fans is to provide positive support to our program. It’s not our job to decide who plays or who gets fired. That’s someone else’s job. I’m going to do my job to the best of my ability Saturday. And if the boo birds show up I’ll just cheer harder but it will hurt knowing those booing are also part of the Clemson family and are reflecting negatively on all of us.
