1. Good win.
2. Defense plays better when they play aggressive, blitzing , attacking.
3. Offense has to find a running game. Riley doesn't call it the "Dirt Raid" for nothing. It is not designed to throw passes when teams drop 7 into coverage.
Looking forward to being their next week.

35 rushes, 37 passes = balance; GR doesn't abandon the run..

which forces teams to play honest.
Riley was all over the 1-high looks as Cuse walked DBs down, and GR/Cade took shots because of it.

Not sure what the problem is, but take away Mafah's TD run and It was 34 carries for 83 yards. Against Cuse.
Gotta get more effective. It will open up the passing game immensely.

Shipley never bounces runs outside anymore. He runs head down up the middle and when he does get loose he always seems to fall with toe grabs. ETN never fell from ankle tackles. I don't know if this is leg strength or balance issues? Ship has a lot of great aspects to help Clemson but running up middle should not be called so often for him. Really like to see Thomas, Adams and Haynes given some run plays just to see.

down help to stop the run game, as a result Clemson beat them over the top.
It's why Dabo and Riley promote a balanced attack, one where you can take advantage of what the defense gives you and they did.
And you don't take away anything, you keep at it and hopefully things pop as they did with Mafah and Shipley before Briny's fumble.
Both backs are still averaging 5 yards + a carry through 5 games.
You always want better, no doubt, but understand what was given in return.

You are including Cade’s sack negative yardage right? If so that’s not a fair look.

The job of the OC is to call plays the DC doesn’t expect. We are calling predictable plays too often. Run up the gut on first for little to no gain. Pass on 2nd and long when they expect the pass. Then we have to pull off some long completions on 3rd, which we did today better than we have all season. If my fat ### knows what play we are calling, then surely all DCs we face will.😂Glad for the win, but this is an ongoing issue that’s going to cost us in a game where we have to sustain drives.

Riley's offense is and has been and will be balanced. Which is good but it requires good ply from both our o and D. We just need to clean up some of the O calls when we see they are not working. Our runs need to be for more than 2- yds/carry. It puts us in 3rd yard and 6/7 too many times. Our OL is not good enough to open a hole for a 3rd and 6/7 run.

giving up the deep stuff and we went after it. Field goal kicking still an issue. Short yardage is still a struggle for us. Was hoping we would toss to the rb wide out of the two-back set but seemed determined to work the middle. Defense looked good for bulk of the game. Good to see the QB pressures. Still have trouble with the RB out in the flat.

What is unusual is the Tigers seem to consistently pop a long run late in the game against a crowded box. That's supposed to be the most difficult situation to do it. We just can't seem to make a running lane when the box is light which confuses me. It's the best numbers situation you can face as an OL.
