his bonus for making the NCAA Tournamemt this year with Clownell, who allowed him to make it there by calling the most moronic timeout in college basketball history! We’ll played Brownlee, for them that is!

nope. VT won. We need to extend BB another 10 as we played VT much tougher than UNC did tonight.  I glad VT won, that way we don't get the Duke/UNC slobberfest hype from the media. LOL

The defense on the last play is open to a ton of criticism

However, VA Tech didn't get the TO go the sideline and call some exotic play they needed to set up for. The guy who was ALWAYS going to take the shot was already on the court, and that was always going to be the play.
Did the TO help us? Evidently not. But I don't see how the TO gave VA Tech some huge advantage.
We played poor defense straight out of the TO, and yeah, that's at least partly on Brownell. But I don't see the TO as the cause of us failing to pressure the ball at all and letting their best shooter get an open look.

But when the assertion is made that the TO itself gave the game to VT and was a horrible strategic decision in and of itself…. I don’t think that argument holds much water.
So again, criticize the defensive set, criticize the personnel we put out there, or criticize the lack of any sort of back court pressure. Those are all valid and open to discussion, but I just don’t see the argument that the TO itself was so monumentally stupid (as was stated in the OP)

I respect your point.
However, it’s not like it was an anomaly. There is a pattern of Brad’s decisions just not working out.
I think that’s why something like this particular TO warrants so much criticism. It’s just time after time after time. People are frustrated and just sick of it.
