Defensively I detect a swagger approaching . I think the last 2 recruiting classes and certainly our guys coming in with a few big timers out there that have Tigets at or near the top shows our emphasis on defensive upgrades. Venables was a smash hire and Dabo was smart to grab Reed.

He's got speed, size, and he's not afraid of contact. He is exactly what we need. Briscoe, Chalmers (4.45 speed), and Muse (headhunter)...for once our secondary may become our strength.

Muse will not be a safety after his red shirt year. Venables will move him into a LB spot, but Van Smith will certainly man a safety spot.

Love the way he runs!! He looks like he is just jogging and is always in control but, he is leaving everybody.
I think Coach Reed found a gem !!!
I have to keep pinching myself when I see our recruiting ranking and all those great looking 6'6" 300 pound top rated OT.
It looks like a great class. Plus the Davis twins. Life is good if your name is Dabo and you whip the chickens this year!!!

I know you're right Smiling. When I here recruits say the University of Clemson, it makes wounder why no one has informed the kid that we were "Clemson University". I mean at least be sure they know the correct naming of the school that they are committing to. And it irks the crap out of me to hear us being called the University of Clemson.
